UBE
The Unit for Bioentrepreneurship (UBE) conducts research on and education in innovation and entrepreneurship. A two-year global Master's programme in Bioentrepreneurship (MBE) is offered at the unit, together with programme elective and single-subject courses. UBE is the KI competence centre of the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship (an academic collaboration between KI, the Stockholm School of Economics, the Royal Institute of Technology, the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, Stockholm University and the Royal College of Music), providing interdisciplinary education. UBE is also involved in externally funded educational projects. With the help of these courses and projects, the aim is to encourage students, researchers and others to learn and apply the entrepreneurial method and approach.
Your mission
We are seeking an ambitious and responsible Project Coordinator. You have an open mind about your work and work environment and also a passion for education, entrepreneurship, innovation and development, especially within life science.
We seek a person who has documented pedagogical skills, has a PhD or equivalent scientific competence in the area relevant for the work. You will have the overall responsibility for the development of the extensive computerized history-taking system CLEOS (Clinical Expert Operating System), focused on its clinical elements.
The Project Coordinator will perform a variety of complex research tasks, including co-drafting a research proposal, performing literature reviews, assisting with ethics board-related activities, development of the computer programme CLEOS and co-authoring of research reports. You will also interact with collaborators universities, healthcare and governmental agencies nationally and internationally.
Your work will include;
- Developing the program CLEOS
- Interaction with technical programmers and system architects
- Interaction with clinical research colleagues
- Apply for funding for research and development
Your profile
Required qualifications:
Compulsory qualifications (documented)
- Medical degree (MD) and clinical experience
- PhD or equivalent scientific competence in the area relevant for the work
- Research experience within clinical decision support and clinical diagnostics
- Experience of development of advanced clinical decision support tools
- Excellent knowledge in medical and scientific English
Meriting qualifications:
- A substantial network within clinical research, nationally and internationally
