Are you ready to create the next generation, sustainable battery production systems? This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated postdoc candidate with a recently completed PhD degree to engage in state-of-the-art research. Join our diverse, professional, and friendly team of excellent researchers working on national and international top level research together with industry and international experts.

Your new team
Chalmers is a leading university in industrial digitalization for sustainable and competitive manufacturing. The Division has a good gender balance and high diversity.
We are engaged in research, education, and innovation; nationally and internationally. We collaborate closely with industry in design, deployment, operation, and maintenance of future industrial battery production systems. Examples of our research are the development of digital twins and exploration of digital product passports applications, to assist battery life-cycle management. Our advanced research facilities and labs for industrial digitalization, e.g. Stena Industry Innovation Lab, enable deep involvement in national and European projects.

Production Systems is one of six divisions within the Department of Industrial and Materials Science (IMS) . Other divisions of IMS are: Design & Human Factors; Product Development; Material & Computational Mechanics; Engineering Materials; Materials and Manufacture. Chalmers is a private university with strong entrepreneurial innovation and startup support.
