Job description
We are working to create cluster states in the microwave frequency band (4-8 GHz) by synchronous pumping of a nonlinear superconducting circuit at multiple frequencies. In theory, cluster states can be used for quantum information processing in a one-way quantum computer. Our goal is to demonstrate this in an experiment. Your work will primarily be at KTH in group of Prof. David Haviland, but the research project is a collaboration with Aalto University in Helsinki Finland, and part of you time will be spent in the group of Prof. Pertti Hakonen.
What we offer
- World leading digital microwave measurement technology that we develop locally.
- Flexible well equipped laboratory for nanofabrication .
- The possibility to travel and create an international network of researches in the field
- Life in Stockholm with exciting culture and close proximity to beautiful natural areas.
- Work at a leading technical university that generates knowledge and skills for a sustainable future
- Engaged and ambitious colleagues along with a creative, international and dynamic working environment
- Help in finding an apartment: relocate and be settled in Sweden and at KTH
