Offer Description
Job description

The Quantum Nano Photonics group at KTH is inviting applications for a postdoc position in the field of quantum photonics at the single photon level. You will work in an international team to develop quantum photonic devices and instruments operating at the single photon level. You will be involved in European and international projects and will collaborate with leading research groups. The work will include optical measurements, optical instruments conception, assembly, validation and data analysis. You will be part of a team developing a quantum spectrometer to acquire spectra, time resolved data and photon correlations. You will also develop a bright source of entangled photons at telecom frequencies to enable new applications in quantum sensing. Demonstrations of the new quantum sensing techniques will involve optical microscopy and lidar at the single photon level.

This postdoc position will be a part of the Wallenberg Center for Quantum Technology, WACQT . WACQT is committed to promoting career development, diversity and gender equality through networking and supporting activities.
