The Research Associate will be sponsored by the research project of the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) AICOM - Artificial Intelligence for Wireless Communications, and the research project of the Knut och Alice Wallenbergs Foundation (KAW) TAIRCOMP – Turning the Air into an AI Computer, two recent projects of the highest scientific quality, which involve leading Swedish universities and scholars.

Requirements

• A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made.
• Research expertise in machine learning and optimization theory, with application to wireless communication
• Collaborative abilities allowing you to work as a part of the interdisciplinary research team
• Independence allowing you to lead your original line of research
• Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with a specific focus on gender equality 

Preferred qualifications

• Documented interest in applied mathematics research
• A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline
• Teaching abilities
