Information about the division
The Division of Chemical Biology is the home of seven research groups. We combine and develop protein engineering, synthetic chemistry and state-of-the-art biophysical methods (spectroscopy, live-cell imaging and nanotechnology) to address cutting edge questions in biology to meet medical challenges related to human health. Our joint expertise is strategic and spans from molecular biophysics of single molecules to cell and organism biology.

Contract terms
Permanent full-time employment.
Job title: Research Engineer.

Major Responsibilities
Provide essential support to all research groups within the division. Duties include:

• Ensuring upkeep of labs and instruments.

• Facilitating newcomers' integration into the lab environment.

• Managing and updating risk assessments.


• Procuring and managing consumables inventory.

Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with a master’s degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related field. Key competencies include experience in research and experimental services.

As a vital member of our team, you will provide essential support to researchers in their daily activities. You should be inherently self-motivated, taking ownership of tasks and ensuring their completion. Your role will involve close collaboration with researchers, necessitating strong service orientation, exceptional cooperation skills, and a dedication to delivering top-quality work.

Structured work, organization, and effective time management are crucial for success in this role. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential for functioning in our international environment. Proficiency in Swedish is a plus.
