Lund University School of Economics and Management is one of eight faculties within Lund University. Work duties

The tasks mainly include teaching and include lectures, seminars, supervision and examination. The assignment also includes administration linked to the specified tasks. The position is based on lectureships according to the current working time agreement.

Eligibility

Doctoral degree in the field together with other scientific merits as well as documented teaching experience. Completed higher pedagogical education comprising at least five weeks or equivalent knowledge. Further higher pedagogical education may be offered after consultation with the director of studies and the head of the department. Ability to teach in Swedish and English is a requirement.

Assessment criteria

The School of Economics and Management aims at a balance between research and teaching. Equal importance will therefore be given to scholarly and pedagogical skills when assessing the applicants. Administrative competence is also taken into account.

In the overall assessment of scholarly skills special weight will be given to publications in the fields concerned, i.e. EU internal market law and competition law as well as EU’s agreements with third countries and the relationship between EU law and WTO law.

Very good knowledge of English in speaking and writing is required.

Special weight will also be given to experience from international collaboration and participation in research networks. Moreover, the ability to collaborate with the surrounding society and to inform about research will be assessed.

Pedagogical qualifications include training in teaching and learning in higher education, pedagogical experience and pedagogical skills. 

Consideration will be given to how the applicant's skills and experience can strengthen and supplement the existing research and teaching activities within the Department of Business Law.

The Department of Business Law is a small department, which is dependent on good cooperation between employees. Consideration will be given to good collaboration skills, commitment and independence. Conditions

Fixed-term empoyment for 10 months, 50% of full time.
