Information about the Graphene Flagship
The Graphene Flagship is a 1,000 million euros research program funded by the European Commission. It brings together academic and industrial researchers to take graphene and related materials from academic laboratories to European society, creating economic growth, new jobs and new opportunities. Chalmers University of Technology has the responsibility for flagship management and administration.

As a communication officer for the Graphene Flagship, you will be a member of the Graphene Flagship Coordination Team and work together with other members of the dissemination team officers, coordinated by the Head of Dissemination.

Job description
This is a temporary position for the remaining period of the GrapheneCore3 project (until September 2023). The position is in the dissemination parts of the project, and the explicit tasks include:
- website maintenance, including content creation, regular updates and event webpage creation and maintenance
- social media coordination including content creation
- design graphics for social media and the website
- provide support during Graphene Flagship events  

Contract terms
Temporary employment, for the period 2022-08-15--2023-09-30

Qualifications
Relevant education on journalism or similar. Fluency in English (knowledge of Swedish is a plus but not required). Experience of general website maintenance and of managing social media platforms. Familiarity with graphics design and design tools.
