Associate Senior Lecturer in Vascular Biology

Uppsala University, Department of Immunology, Genetics and Pathology (IGP) is seeking candidates for the position of Associate Senior Lecturer. The candidate will join the collaborative and vibrant Vascular Biology Program of ten research groups focused on understanding mechanisms of blood and lymphatic vessel regulation in health and disease: https://www.igp.uu.se/research/vascular-biology

Appointment Period: Employment as an Associate Senior Lecturer is a six-year career-development position. An Associate Senior Lecturer may apply and be considered for promotion. If requirements are met, the candidate shall be promoted and employed as a Senior Lecturer under a permanent contract. The Senior Lecturer can subsequently apply for promotion to Professor.

Qualifications: Primary consideration will be given to a person who has been awarded a PhD within five years of the deadline for application. The applicant must have a documented ability to teach in Swedish or English, and strong research merits with an original and competitive profile in areas of importance in vascular biology research.
