Researcher - Depolution effluent processes (M/W - Fixed-term contract)

Updated: over 1 year ago
Job Type: FullTime
Deadline: 16 Dec 2022

- Carry out a proof of concept (POC) of a process developed at the LNER laboratory for the treatment of industrial water flow arising from metallurgical industry.
- Optimization of the physical and chemical characteristics of the porous support (Hybrid material silica+carbon)
- Maturation of the project with a view to creating a start-up (development of a business model, customer research, etc.).

The Laboratory of Nanomaterials for Energy and Recycling (LNER) is recruiting a researcher to develop an activity relating to the optimization of a hybrid material of the silica+carbon type and an associated process, with a view to use for the depollution of aqueous effluents containing metals and/or organic compounds. Beyond the technical skills (development/characterization of materials, extraction, etc.), the candidate must have skills and an appetite for the creation and development of a business (development of a business model, sales, customer relations, etc.). ..), since the purpose of the project will be to create a start-up.

The LNER team deals with the research on nanomaterials used in the field of energy. This concerns the nuclear energy, with separative chemistry (solid-liquid or with phase transformation) and nanostructured materials (fuel and confinement material).
The proposed position will report directly to the head of the laboratory.
