The successful candidate will be in charge of developing new web applications for supporting the application of NAM in IATAs for chemical risk assessment.

The job will involve the design of the application architecture, backend and front-end. The backend will include simple heuristic rules implemented in Python and database connection to support the storage of users and projects information. The system will be installed in docker containers, suitable for being deployed in cloud environments or at corporate servers.

Desired skills and expertise:
• Academic training in software development, including web application development.
• Experience in handling chemical (SMILES, InChiKey) and Biomedical data.
• Experience in Toxicology related research projects will be a plus.

Additional knowledge on the following fields:
- Programming languages: Python, Django
- Databases and Big Data Technologies: MySQL
- Web Technologies and Web Application Development: Javascript, HTML, CSS, Angular
