On 23 of January of 2024, the University of Huelva issues the following resolution for the recruitment of a University graduate commissioned by the project PCM_00023 ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING THROUGH OMIC AND ANALYTICAL METHODOLOGIES USING BIRDS AND THEIR HABITATS AS BIOINDICATORS OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY (MONAMBIO), subsidized by the Administration of the Government of Andalusia, Department of University, Research and Innovation, in the framework of the Complementary Plan for Marine Sciences and Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, in its call for fiscal year 2023. (Measure: C17.I1)
Aid 100% co-financed by the European Union through the European Union Recovery and Resilience Mechanism. «Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan - Funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU».

Skills/Qualifications
A graduated in Marine and Environmental Sciences or Biology (18 months) with experience in water, soil and bird sampling (blood, eggs and feathers), knowledge in ornithology, mainly waterfowl, database management and statistics. The specific tasks to be performed will be those related to objective 1 indicated in the scientific report of the project.

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
Objective 1 indicated in the scientific report of the project in addition to database management and statistics. Collection of water, soil and bird samples (feces, blood, eggs and feathers). And subsequent laboratory preparation for analysis and transport to the University of Huelva.
Eligibility criteria
PhD in Marine Sciences, Environmental Sciences or Biology with experience in water, soil and bird sampling (droppings, blood, eggs and feathers), knowledge in ornithology, mainly waterfowl, database management and statistics.
Selection process
MERITS (MAXIMUM 10 POINTS)
- PhD in Marine Sciences, Environmental Sciences or Biology: 3 points.
- Scientific articles indexed in JCR and in the first quartile related to waterfowl: 0.1 points/article (maximum 2 points).
- Participation in a work team or researcher of competitive projects related to experience in waterfowl sampling (droppings, blood, eggs, feathers) and physico-chemical parameters: 0.1 points/project (maximum 2 points).
- Demonstrable experience in bird field sampling and analysis: maximum 1 point.
- Interview: 2 points.

In compliance with Section 8 of the Resolution of the University of Huelva of December 12, 2023, which establishes the legal basis and schedule for the publication of public tenders for personnel contracts for the realisation and execution of projects, grants, agreements and contracts with third parties of fixed duration for the year 2023 (BOJA No. 16 of January 25, 2023), the application must be accompanied by the following documents:
