Offer Description

Job duties:
• Participation in lines of research on manufacturing processes focused on additive manufacturing.
• Research on improvement and optimization of production processes.
Tasks:
• Manufacturing of filaments using fiber or powder additives from industrial waste.
• 3D printing of plastics
• Finite element modeling
• Preparation of technical documentation and scientific articles.

• Have Spanish nationality or have the nationality of a member state of the European Union or be from any of the states in which, by virtue of international treaties established by the E.U. and ratified by Spain, the free movement of workers is applicable. Likewise, applicants with a nationality other than that mentioned above may submit their application, provided they can prove that they are in possession of a work and residence permit at the time the contract is formalized.
• To be in possession of the qualification required in this call. Documents issued abroad that are to be used in this procedure must be legalized in accordance with the current regulations (Management circular number 134).

• Persons who have had an employment contract for access to the Spanish science, technology and innovation system, governed by article 22 of Law 14/2011 of 1 June on Science, Technology and Innovation of a duration equal to or greater than 5 years, taking into account the duration of this job offer, may not participate in the selection process.

Experience

Experience in the following fields:
- Finite element modelling using software Ansys
- 3D printing of polymers with FDM technology
- Filament extrusion processes
- Use of machines for tensile and bending tests
- Experimentation with new materials and/or combinations of several for the formation of the filament

Complementary Training

10 POINTS

Other master's degree or qualification related to the area of expertise. Workshops/seminars on subjects related to the offer.

Demonstrable knowledge of English by official exam: First, Advance, IELTS, APTIS
