Offer Description
Mission:
Develop and apply advanced Quantum Monte Carlo techniques to investigate the ground state properties and phase transitions in two-component bosonic gases with coherent coupling.
Functions to be developed:
- Develop and implement advanced Quantum Monte Carlo methods for the study of one-dimensional quantum gas mixtures with coherent coupling.
- Develop and optimize scientific software for the simulation of quantum systems in high-performance computing environments.
- Perform numerical simulations of many-body quantum systems and analyze their ground state properties, correlations, and phase transitions.
- Analyze and interpret the results obtained and compare them with theoretical predictions and experimental data, when appropriate.
- Obtain high-precision data to characterize quantum phase transitions by determining the critical point and critical exponents.
