Technician - Soft Matter Nanotechnology Lab

The technician will be responsible for managing the experimental activity of the Soft Matter Nanotechnology Lab and will provide support to the researchers working at the lab. Responsibilities:

- General lab management, including the purchasing of lab materials, maintaining the lab inventory, keeping the lab organized, and helping to ensure that investigational work can be conducted smoothly and efficiently.
- Researcher assistance, including supporting PhD students in their work. Research activities within the Soft Matter Nanotechnology lab involve preparative and cell work, and the use of several experimental techniques: flowcytometry, confocal microscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering, electron microscopy, etc.

Required Education Level

- A degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biological Sciences or Materials Science is required (Bacherlor s degree or above).

Required Skills/ Qualifications

- Previous involvement in Laboratory technician duties at a Research Centre
- Good command of English.
- Capacity to work in a very international environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience with cell work (desired)
