We are looking for a person with a Bachelor degree in biomedicine -related subjects such as Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, Biology, Psychology, Biochemistry, etc. and with Neuroscience background.

1. The candidate should have: (i) the certificate that enables to work with Laboratory Animals; (ii) be eager to conduct in vivo experimental research in mice, involving treatments, brain surgeries, multi-electrode arrays + optogenetics, and mouse behavior. (iii) Molecular biology and histology knowledge and skills are also required (Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, qPCR, etc). (iv) Importantly, communication skills, ability to work in a team and good level of English is also required. (v) Part of the work will involve support in administrative tasks.

2.- Knowledge and skills also desired include: (i) in vitro tools: including generation of primary neuronal cultures, AAV transfection of neurons, and in vitro functional studies, such as calcium imaging. (ii) Computer skills, excel, Graphpad, knowledge of statistic programs and MATLAB programming.

Hence, we are looking for a highly motivated person who is responsible, proactive, flexible and that is able to attend to multiple simultaneous tasks and, importantly, to work in a team.
