Technician in charge of the Innovation platform of IIS Biobizkaia to support the coordination of the activity of the innovation technicians, with the support of the Biobizkaia Organisation Management.

Skills/Qualifications

We are looking for a person with initiative, relational skills and experience in people management in the field of innovation to join the Institute to support the coordination of the innovation team, with a direct interlocution with the Organisation Management. The main tasks to be carried out are:

• Collaboration in the elaboration and evaluation of the Institute's Transfer and Innovation Plan.
• Planning, management and evaluation of innovation activities and control of innovation projects.
• Development and improvement of the innovation management system, recording and monitoring of activities and objectives, drawing up indicators and monitoring reports.
• Collaborate in the identification of opportunities for translation and transfer, in collaboration with the legal area and OTC.
• Strengthening relations with health centres for the development of innovation and the development of agreements with other institutions.
• Advice and collaboration for the planning and development of innovation projects in biomedicine and health.
• Dynamisation of innovation among health researchers and innovators, coordinating the support of the Institute in the different health centres of the Institute, especially in specific calls for innovation.
• Participating in tasks to promote innovative culture and identify good innovative practices and technological opportunities, as well as in activities to disseminate and publicise the portfolio of products and developments.
• Benchmarking and collaboration in the technological and methodological surveillance system of the innovation system.

Specific Requirements

• Hold an advanced university degree
• Experience coordinating innovation for at least 5 years
• Experience coordinating innovation teams for at least 3 years
• Demonstrable experience in transfer
• English level C1

Benefits

• Contract: Permanent.
• Work day: Full- Time.
• Annual gross remuneration: 31.000 – 34.000 gross euros.
• Workplace: IIS Biobizkaia and different locations of the Institute in the healthcare centres of Bizkaia
• Expected start date: Inmediately.

Eligibility criteria

We are looking for a person with demonstrable experience in innovation and innovation team management to drive and coordinate the activity of the Institute's innovation team, ideally with some experience in the healthcare environment:

• Experience in innovation management and/or technology transfer and/or dissemination of research results (0-30)
• References in results and patent protection activity (0-10)
• Postgraduate training; preferably master's degree in biotechnology, marketing and/or business management and administration or similar or in industrial or intellectual property (0-5)
• Experience in managing people and teams in innovation (0-10)
• Experience in project management methodologies and innovation certification (0-10)
• Knowledge of the healthcare field (0-5)
• Communication and self-management skills (To be assessed in an interview) (0-20)
• Other languages (0-5)
• Certificate of disability, minimum 33% (0-5)
