THE MÁLAGA BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE AND NANOMEDICINE PLATFORM (IBIMA BIONAND Platform) NEEDS TO HIRE A PROFESSIONAL WITH THE FOLLOWING PROFILE: TECHNICIAN.
Principal researcher: Manuel Isidro Muñoz Pérez.
Venue: IBIMA B-03 / Hematology Service of the Regional University Hospital of Málaga.
Research Line: EECC that are linked to the Hematology unit of the Regional University Hospital of Málaga Adult Area.
Functions to develop:
- Coordination of the progress of the study, ensuring that the defined objectives are met.
- Contact between the trial promoter and the research staff.
- Support to the main researcher of the study, and advice for its correct development.
- Support to encourage the promotion and recruitment of new clinical trials and observational studies.
- Control of the most critical points of the study, such as completing the data collection notebooks, collection and handling of biological samples, archiving of the material and personal monitoring of the patients included in the clinical trials.
- Support in managing appointments and organizing patient visits to the center, as well as in preparing treatment sheets for clinical trials.
- Support in the collection of patient data according to what is established in the trial protocol. Data entry in EDC or CRFe.
- Support to ensure correct billing of clinical studies and observational studies.
Minimum requirements :
- Graduate or Graduate in any of the branches of Health Sciences.
Valuable Requirements :
- Experience in: (1 point will be awarded for every six months of experience up to a maximum of 4 points)
- Coordination and dynamization of Clinical Trials / Observational Studies.
- Experience in managing databases and Electronic Data Collection Notebooks (CRDe).
- Administrative and methodological procedures.
- Post-Graduate Training in any of the branches of health sciences (1 point).
- Accredited training in Good Clinical Practice Standards (1 point).
- Minimum knowledge of English B1 (1 point).
The aforementioned requirements must be accredited by means of a certificate from a competent body or a responsible declaration.
Contract details :
- Contracting modality: Contract for scientific-technical activities (art. 23 bis of the Science and Technology Law Law 14/2011).
- Category: Technical.
- Location: Regional University Hospital of Malaga.
- Annual gross remuneration: €24,000.00
- Time: Full time (35 hours per week).
- Estimated duration: 6 months – The contract is linked to the duration of the financing/activity.

Selection process :
- Based on the criteria obtained in the merit assessment, at least the three best candidates will be selected to carry out a personal interview in which communication skills, aptitude for work and skills will be assessed, with a maximum of 3 points. Only those candidates who obtain at least 50% of the evaluable merit points will be eligible for the interview phase.
- After the resolution of the position and in the event that the selected candidate resigns from the contract, the hiring table may decide to decide in favor of the next candidate according to the list of scores.
