Methodologist for the CLINICAL RESEARCH AND CLINICAL TRIALS UNIT of the Biobizkaia Health Research Institute.

Skills/Qualifications

• Methodological advice on research studies.
• Assessment of the most appropriate methodological design for each research study.
• Definition of the research hypothesis, objectives, study population, study variables and data collection process.
• Support and elaboration of a research protocol.
• Support and preparation of the participant information sheet and informed consent.
• Support and preparation of the CRD (Data Collection Notebook on paper).
• Coordination and organisation of meetings between the promoter and the research team, as well as with the rest of the team involved in the study (bioinformatics unit, biostatistics and information systems) and collaborating services (pharmacy, EECC laboratory, research nursing, ...), if applicable.
• Advice and preparation of intermediate and final results reports.
• Support in the development of proposals for national study calls (Medtech).

Specific Requirements

• Degree in Health Sciences.
• Experience in health research methodology.

• Annual gross remuneration: 34.250 gross euros.

Eligibility criteria

• Experience in methodological advice in public/private/thesis research studies, etc. (0-20).
• Postgraduate training related to the position (master's degree or similar). (0-15)
• Experience in implementation, design, development and management of databases. (0-5)
• Participation in the development of proposals for national research projects. (0-10)
• Participation in the execution of national and/or international projects as principal investigator or collaborator. (0-20)
• Knowledge of regulations related to biomedical research. (0-15)
• High level of English and Basque (certification will be valued). (0-10)
• Certificate of disability minimum 33%. (0-5)
