The Institute

The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is an international biomedical research institute of excellence, based in Barcelona, Spain, with more than 400 scientists from 44 countries. The role

The desired candidate will provide a service of mouse and human pluripotent 2D (monolayer) and 3D (organoids) stem cell differentiation procedures as already established in the Unit. The candidate will execute CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing services, set up specific 2D/3D and gene editing procedures upon user request for specific projects.

The position involves working some weekends and holiday days during the year.

About the unit

The Tissue Engineering Facility is a scientific-technological Core Facility within the Core Facilities Program. The goal of the Tissue Engineering Unit is to provide CRG, PRBB and external researchers with the latest technologies used in the fields of stem cell biology, stem cell differentiation, organoid formation, induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing. It was created 5 years ago with the aim of helping the research community in performing Stem Cell and Organoids projects to increase the impact of Stem Cell and Organoid projects and applications. The Unit is constantly setting up new technologies that are emerging in the above fields.
