MiMARK is a recently constituted spin-off company focused on improving Women’s Health. We are specialized in the discovery and validation of clinically impactful biomarkers across gynecology indications. Our first product, WomEC, is an IVD for a high-quality diagnosis of endometrial cancer. Our product is currently in the prototype development phase using expertise in mass spectrometry and antibody-based technologies, together with algorithm and software analysis.

We are seeking for you!
We are seeking a senior statistician in MiMARK. The perfect candidate is a geek in statistics who has a mathematics/statistical and/or closely related background with experience in biomarker research and algorithm development; preferably with experience on working with clinical and molecular data. This position will be responsible for all the data analysis of the company, including the design and validation of algorithms of WomEC through all the steps of its development.

Responsibilities
Development of statistical and informatics methods for biomarker and clinical research using -omic and clinical data
Design and validation of algorithms, from linear regression to machine learning methods
Interpreting results, discussion with team members and reporting
Responsible to provide with statistical experimental design, in all
phases of product development, including clinical trials
Conduct the design and development of the software that will
provide an easy readout of our WomEC test
Provide general data management to the project, as well as data quality checks and regular verifications
Providing statistical advice and basic training to the MiMARK team Requirements
University degree in Mathematics, Statistics or a closely related field
Experience in biomarker research, including algorithm development
Advanced level of English
- Passionate, proactive, and committed
We will value
Postgraduate training in Statistics, or bioinformatics (PhD, Master)
Experience in working with clinical and proteomic data
Having worked in an ISO quality environment and/or
biotech/pharma industry environment
- Knowledge in software development
