OFFER DESCRIPTION

Main duties:

Be part of the Smart Systems and Smart Manufacturing Unit, within the Research and Development area, with the following task:

• R & D projects execution in Industry 4.0, Industrial Internet of Things and Cyber Physical Systems.
• Software development (Full Stack) in the R&D projects.
• Leading or participating in meetings on European level.

 

 
Education:

• Electrical Engineering.
• Informatics Engineering.
• Computer Science.
• Master / PhD / Postdoctoral in the field of Computer Science or Industrial Engineer highly valued.

 
Job specific skills:

• Previous experience of at least 4 years in R&D.
• Experience in at least 2 programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript)
• Knowledge in open platforms, databases (SQL & NoSQL) and communication protocols (OPC-UA; MQTT).
• Office: high level Word, Excel and Power Point.
• English: Advanced (C1/C2) level.
• Availability to travel.
• Driving Licence and own car.

 

Desirable qualifications and skills:

 

• Knowledge of Fiware; Kafka; Python GUI Frameworks and Grafana.
• Manufacturing domain.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
