AIMEN is a multi-sector Innovation and Technology Centre that develops R&D&I activities and provides technological services to the industry in the fields of Materials, Advanced Manufacturing processes, Digitalization, and sustainability.

Main duties:

Be part of the Smart Systems and Smart Manufacturing Unit, within the Research and Development area, with the following task:

• Execution of R & D projects in the areas of process control and computer vision for different sectors and applications.
• Programming of embedded systems.

 

Education:

• Industrial Electronics Engineering.
• Telecommunications Engineering.
• Computer Engineering.

 

 

Job specific skills:

• Previous professional experience of at least 5 years in R&D activities.
• Programming in C / C ++ and Python.
• Experience programming embedded platforms (e.g.  micro-controllers, ARM/GPU SoC, FPGAs).
• Experience with IoT communication protocols and industrial interfaces.   
• English level: C1 / C2.
• Driving Licence.

 

Desirable qualifications and skills:

 

• Master's degree /PhD in electrical engineering, computer vision, computer science.
• Software and hardware development of embedded systems.
