Offer Description

We are looking for a researcher for the development of the ADMIT project -generative AI in large language Models In educaTion- in the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University.

 

The aim of the project is to establish the necessary educational and ethical conditions to enable the use of LLM and generative AI as a means to improve teaching and learning in higher education. An LLM framework and guidelines will be created, using large language models for education, to integrate LLM and generative AI into teaching and learning design.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Participate in project meetings and take responsibility for leading and coordinating tasks.
  • Drafting of reports (publishable) related to the project.
  • Support in the design and analysis of research data.
  • Support for scientific publication and dissemination of the project.
  • Elaboration of training materials for teachers.

 

The successful candidate will be awarded a temporary contract at 20.77% of full time for 6 months, renewable, starting in March 2024.

 

The reference headquarters will be located at 22@, Rbla. Del Poblenou, 156, in Barcelona. We work with an open work model that combines teleworking with onsite work, depending on organisational needs and the nature of the tasks.

What kind of profile are we looking for?

 

  • PhD in education or related fields.
  • Degree in education, sociology or pedagogy.
  • Research and innovation experience in the field of technology applied to education, pedagogy, training design and teacher professional development.
  • Proficiency in writing articles and documents for scientific dissemination.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (quantitative) and qualitative analysis.
  • Experience in the design of online courses
  • research experience in the field of education and technologies, in European projects and national and international funded research projects.
  • Expertise in IA applied to education.
  • Advanced level of English.
