We are looking for motivated candidates to incorporate in the "Energy Conversion & Photonics" area and develop advanced smart glazing solutions for energy efficient buildings. Specifically, the initial work will be focused on the design and testing of advanced electrochromic windows in the framework of prestigious European project on Energy Efficient Buildings. The selected candidate will plan and carry out their experimental activities in the framework of a technological platform endowed with a wide spectrum of fabrication and characterization facilities and will collaborate with researchers of the "Advanced Engineering" department to the implementation of innovative smart control systems.

Job Description:
Design dynamic solar control systems such as smart electrochromic glazing
Fabrication and characterization of advanced solar control systems and integration in façade components (IGUs)
Modelling, simulation and analysis of the energy performances both at component and building scale
Education:
Master in Materials / Energy / Electronic / Industrial Engineering
PhD degree (optional)
Experience:
Experience in the design and modelling of optoelectronic devices
Experience in the use of 3D CAD software (SOLID WORKS and/or AUTOCAD) and Energy modelling software (Energy+ or TRNSYS)
Experience in the redaction of technical reports and scientific articles
Labour Competencies:

Flexibility and positive attitude
Languages:
Fluent English
Good Spanish (optional)
