PROJECT DATA:

Title: Assessment and advice for the best efficiency and effectiveness of assistive technology (MATCH)

Reference: PID2019-104323 RB-C33. The AIRP4DP project (Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Assistive Technology devices for Disabled People) aims to develop novel robotic solutions based on artificial intelligence and computer vision, with advanced mobility and human-robot portable interaction capabilities, to improve the independence and stimulation of people with disabilities. It is a coordinated project, with the participation of the University of Alcalá de Henares and the University of Seville) and financed by the Ministry of Research, Science and Universities, in which the University of Coruña will develop the MATCH subproject. This aims to assess the interaction between users and assistive technology: to guarantee a high person-technology fit and to achieve a positive psychosocial impact on the lives of people with disabilities.

1. TASKS TO PERFORM:

A SENIOR SUPPORT TECHNICIAN is requested for RESEARCH to carry out various tasks within the framework of the project, which are listed below: * Collaboration in the development of robotic technology, supporting the technical work carried out by the University of Alcalá de Henares. * Collaboration in the implementation of the multimodal sensor through wearable devices, which allows monitoring of the bioelectric and biomechanical signals of the activity of the user of the assistive technology. * Support and collaboration in the development process of specific virtual reality scenarios for the training of people with disabilities in assistive technology. * Collaboration in the dissemination of the project results. * Support and technical assistance in the analysis of data derived from the development of the project.
