Participate in the referenced project in the following tasks:

  • Carrying out the determinations and tests of the patients recruited in the study, as well as the clinical follow-up of the same.
  • Review of medical records, collection of clinical data and management and control of the activities associated with the study.

Specific Requirements
  • Degree in Health Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, etc.).
  • Experience in Genetics of Endocrine Diseases at least 1 year.
  • Master's degree in Microbiology.
  • Master in Biomedicine.
  • English minimum B1.
  • French B2.

  • Contract: of scientific and technical activities under Royal Decree-Law 8/2022, of 5 April, adopting urgent measures in the field of employment contracts in the Spanish science, technology and innovation system.
  • Work day: Full- Time.
  • Annual gross remuneration: 26.681 gross euros.

  • Unit or service: Research Group on Hereditary and Rare Kidney Diseases of the Biocruces Bizkaia Health Research Institute.

Eligibility criteria
  • Knowledge of bioinformatics oriented to genomic analysis of microbiota (0-7.5).
  • Demonstrable experience in the following technologies: Massive Sequencing (NGS applied to microbiota analysis), library preparation, use of Ion Torrent NGS platforms, (0-15).
  • Demonstrable experience in gene variant analysis. Use of bioinformatics tools for analysis and prediction of biological significance of these variants (0-15).
  • Training and certification in genetics/genomics Microbiology (0-20)
  • Leadership of research projects as Principal Investigator (0-6)
  • Demonstrable experience in writing scientific articles, preparing reports, conducting systematic reviews and evaluations of the international scientific literature, publishing results in scientific journals and presenting at national and international conferences. Demonstrable experience in the preparation of proposals, collaboration and management of research projects (0-6).
  • Demonstrable experience in research in Molecular Biology and/or genetics and handling of techniques such as: genomic DNA and RNA extraction, conventional PCR, real-time PCR, FISH, Bioanalyzer, SNP arrays (0-6).
