Offer Description
The Systems Biology of Infection Laboratory (SysBioLab):
The Systems Biology of Infection Laboratory (SysBioLab) is located at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), in the Biosciences Faculty Building. The SysBioLab is dedicated to understanding bacterial pathogenesis at the system architecture level. The lab focuses on identifying and characterizing host-pathogen protein-protein complexes, elucidating their relevance to disease, and exploring their dynamic regulation during infection. We tackle these challenges through high-throughput methods combined with mathematical and modeling approaches, aiming to leverage this knowledge to design new antibiotics, especially against multi-drug resistant bacteria.
