Offer Description

We are seeking to recruit a Research Assistant for the project "Global Literary Studies - SGR" of the GlobaLS research group of the University's IN3.

Project objective:

With a gender, ethical and digital perspective, GlobaLS aims to:

1. Analysing literary history with a global, decentralized and interdisciplinary view, and at different scales.

2. Consolidate global literary studies through theoretical reflection on 5 key concepts: space, scale, time, connectivity and agency.

3. Promote the global study of literature, filmic cultures and imaginaries of the future from a perspective that connects the humanities and social sciences.

4. Study literary and cultural processes, as well as their agents, from the idea of movement to discover invisible networks and voices.

5. Reduce inequalities in the production of knowledge and promote open science and big data in southern Europe and the global south, as well as critical reflection on gender and race.

These objectives will be achieved with 5 lines of research: Global Flows of Translation, The Global Novel, Global Literary Environments, Global Cinema and Imaginaries of the Future.

 

Responsibilities:

Support in the tasks and objectives established in the project report

Fieldwork of the group's needs in relation to the objectives established in the SGR
