Offer Description

We are seeking to recruit a research assistant for the project "The power of internal feedback in online education: the integration of resources and dialogic comparators for sustainable practices - Feed4Sustain" of the Feed2Learn research group of the Psychology and Educational Sciences Department of the University.

This research project is framed in the field of education and, specifically, in the evaluation of learning and the aids, such as feedback, that the student needs to learn in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and validation of data collection instruments (questionnaires).
  • Reading scientific articles to develop theoretical frameworks.
  • Preparation of research reports.
  • Active involvement in data collection for a research project.
  • Assisting with coordination tasks within the research group.
  • Analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data.

The successful candidate will be awarded a temporary contract of two years,  at 50% of full-time, starting in April 2024.

The reference headquarters will be located at 22@, Rbla. Del Poblenou, 156, in Barcelona. We work with an open work model that combines teleworking with onsite work, depending on organisational needs and the nature of the tasks.

Specific Requirements

What kind of profile are we looking for?

  • Degree in Sociology. Additional training in the field of education will be an asset.
  • 0.5 years of internship experience and essential content.
  • Collaboration with other professionals.
  • Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis software.
  • Effective communication skills in English (both oral and written).
  • Proficiency in Catalan and Spanish will be valued.
