What we are looking for

The successful applicant will work in a project founded by the Spanish Government (project leader: Dr. Begoña Díaz) on the influence of voice processing abilities on language learning. To investigate this question healthy, adult participants will take part in behavioral and functional magnetic imaging studies. The tasks of the successful participant will be: Stimuli preparation, participant recruitment, experiment programming, data acquisition, and data archiving. Applicants must be fluent in Spanish or Catalan and hold a university degree (master or diploma) in Cognitive Neuroscience, Psychology, Computational Neuroscience, Linguistics, or similar.

Additionally, the following aspects of the applicant’s CV will be taken into consideration:

- A background in conducting research.

- Fluent in English and/or German is of advantage.

- Knowledge in statistics is of advantage.

- Programming skills (e.g. in Matlab or Python) is of advantage.
