Job position

Research Assistant for the projecte “Back in Town. The role of industrial relations and social dialogue in supporting young people’s employment and social inclusion at an urban level”.

This project aim is to investigate how social partners and policy makers have supported youth employment and inclusion so far and understand how to seek a transformative change in a collaborative context to improve their capacity to develop, implement and monitor youth-oriented policy measures at an urban level.
The project will carry out desk/field research, set up practical tools, put in place participatory practices to engage with young people and realise training activities to reinforce and coordinate practices of urban bargaining at a company, sectoral and institutional level for shaping youth-friendly cities.

We are looking for a RA to participate in the folllowing tasks:
- Assist in workfield activities (locations: Mataró/Terrassa)
- Attend coordination meetings
- Collaborte in writing the report “Understanding the content of the most effective policies for youth employment and social inclusion at an urban level and mainstreaming youth issues in the agendas of local industrial relations and social dialogue”
- Provide suport in communication and dissemination activities
- Support in organising a workshop (novembre 2024)
- Analize and prepare publications

Job position requirements (skills/languages/required experience)

Required skills: fieldwork (qualitative and quantitative data collection; knowledge of software analysis and transcriptions tools), English (Advanced) and Catalan (Intermediate),
Preferable skills: previous experience in research on local public policy analysis or youth policies

Benefits

26.376,93€ per year plus the amount corresponding to Plus Campus and the rest of the salary supplements that belong

Eligibility criteria

FP or Equivalent (mandatory). BA in social sciences or MA in research will be appreciated. Experience in research (qualitative methods), participation in public policy analysis and international/European research projects; Advanced level of English and intermediate Catalan. Knowledge qualitative software analysys and trascriptions tools.
