Functions to develop:

  • Construction of statistical learning and Machine/Deep Learning models in respiratory signals to identify potentially harmful interactions between patient and ventilator.
  • Data transformation and cleaning
  • Processing of large data sets (Big Data).
  • Planning, preparation and management of databases
  • Extraction of characteristics and physiomarkers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree / bachelor's degree preferably, Biomedical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Mathematics or related area.
  • Master's preferably in Biomedical Engineering

We will value:

  • Curriculum vitae.
  • High level in digital signal processing techniques.
  • Non-linear analyzes (entropies and dynamic complexity) of time series.
  • Experience in statistical data analysis and machine learning methods.
  • Programming language R, Python and MATLAB.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL language.
  • Familiar with the acquisition of biomedical signals (EMG, MMG, ECG, PPG, respiratory signals).
  • Basic knowledge about the respiratory system, patient-ventilator interaction, and sleep studies.
  • Good level of Catalan, Spanish and English both written and spoken.
  • Critical thinking skills, self-learning, teamwork, communication and rigor.

We offer:

The candidate will be employed, through a temporary contract, in the replacement modality until the position is definitively filled (temporarily, he may be bonded through other contractual modalities, without losing the interim status); with the working conditions included in the Collective Agreement applicable in the Centre.

The dedication will be full-time
