Pre-Doctoral Research Assistant
Maria Petrova is looking for a quantitative research assistant to join her ERC-sponsored project “The Rise and Fall of Populism and Extremism” for 2022-2023 academic year. The team also consists of Gianluca Russo and Mario Carillo.
Master's degree in Economics or related fields is required. Knowledge of Stata is a prerequisite. Strong quantitative background is a must. Experience with Python, web scraping, and/or working with very large datasets is a plus. An ideal candidate is interested in doing PhD and has research interests in Political Economy. The position is at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.
