Job position
The ICTA-UAB is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher Senior.
We are seeking to appoint a post-doctoral researcher to work on the REAL project Call: ERC-2022-SYGl. We are looking for a collegiate and creative postdoctoral researcher with demonstrated research expertise in institutional change, radical politics, social movements and degrowth
Tasks:
1. Study through case studies concrete experiences of social or political movements mobilizing in transformative directions.
2. Yield broader lessons of interest that speak to concerns about degrowth policies and politics.
3. Contribute to the development of a theory of change apt to thinking about degrowth futures.
Job position requirements (skills/languages/required experience)
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in social sciences. Preference: human geography.
Proficient in English.
For this postdoctoral position, previous postdoctoral experience required Previous experience with study of radical politics.
The successful candidate will have ability and commitment to work both independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary and international team.
Availability to travel to conferences and for presentations. Ability to create and contribute to a well-functioning, inclusive and productive research environment.
