Postdoctoral Researcher (Ref: Postdoc 2022-33 ALL/CSOL)

The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher.

This position will be funded by Indústria del Coneixement - Producte 2021 (AGAUR).

ICIQ is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to work in Prof. Antoni Llobet’s research group, in collaboration with the innovation unit CSOL. The researcher will perform activities in the development of an electrochemical sensor for organic molecules using in-house developed organometallic catalysts deposited onto the electrodes. This project is funded by “Ajuts d'Indústria del Coneixement per a l'any 2021. Modalitat B. Ajuts Producte, ref. 2021 PROD 00026” from AGAUR.

Responsibilities

• Synthesis and scale up of the catalysts (ligands and organometallic catalysts).
• Deposition of the catalysts onto electrodes, and scale up of the deposition.
• Test the catalysts in electrolyzer and sensors.
• Contribute in the design and construction of a sensor prototype.
