The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Postdoctoral researcher to work in Palomares’ group. This position is funded by the research project PHOTORED with the tittle: “Reducciones Fotocatalíticas De CO2 Con Hidrógeno Verde (Photored)”, and reference PLEC2021-007831, financed by MCIN/AEI /10.13039/501100011033 and for the European Union NextGenerationEU/ PRTR.
ICIQ is committed to performing excellent research at the frontier of knowledge in the broad area of chemistry (Catalysis, Artificial Photosynthesis, Activation of Small Molecules, Photovoltaics, Functional Molecular Assemblies and Chemical Biology, from either theoretical or experimental perspectives). ICIQ is looking for a Postdoctoral researcher with experience on the synthesis and characterization of hybrid porous materials with optical and electrical properties. Moreover, experience on characterization of photoactive materials is also required.
Responsibilities
- The researcher will be responsible for the development of hybrid porous materials for photocatalytic applications, the characterization of their structural and optical properties and the characterization of the properties of photoactive materials. Moreover, she/he will be supervising Ph.D. researchers and Master students. The researcher will deliver internal reports and write manuscripts based on the experimental results. His/her participation in national and international proposals is also encouraged.
