Offer Description

The selected person will assume the tasks of a postdoctoral researcher collaborator of the Research Group on Obesity, Diabetes and Metabolism (ODIM), with the mission of providing support and supervision to the development of the project "Start-up of an outpatient clinic tone phenotype patients with obesity, Pfizer Tracking Number 76136767" until the research line "Prediction of weight response after BC".
The work to be performed includes non-clinical tasks such as coordination, logistics and data entry with the aim of contributing to the fulfilment and exercise of the project.
The tasks performed will consist of (but are not limited to):
-Active search for patient candidates
-Patient contact and recruitment related processes
-Execution of study procedures
-Scheduling of patient and test schedules
-Data entry into the data collection workbook (CRD)
-Thorough knowledge of study protocols and their requirements
-Preparing and attending to monitoring and audits
-Collaboration in the set-up of clinical trials

The Offer – Working Conditions
-Type of contract: Indefinite for technical scientific activities, in accordance with the provisions of Article 23 of Law 17/2022, of 5 September, which amends Law 14/2011, of 1 June, on Science, Technology and Innovation.
-The contractual modality is that of indefinite duration, with specific clauses linked to the financing of the project in accordance with art. 49 1.b) and art. and 52.e). of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of 23 October, approving the revised text of the Workers' Statute Law.
-Professional category: Postdoctoral Researcher
-Planned start date: 1 March 2024
-Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
-Remuneration: 25.750€ gross/yearly NOT including employer's social security contributions.
-Financing of the activity: C100052
-Duration of the contract: In the project work programme it is foreseen that staff costs will run until 31/12/2024.

If there are changes in the work programme and/or budget of the project, the possibility to modify the period will be assessed (the duration of the contract is linked to the specific funding of the project/convention).
