Job position

Postdoctoral researcher for HE-ERC Synergy project MEDGREENREV Re-thinking the Green revolution in the Medieval Western Mediterranean (6th-16th centuries).

Tasks:

• Participation in project’S archaeological excavations

Job position requirements (skills/languages/required experience)

• PhD- mandatory (will be positively evaluated Degree in History or Archeology + Master degree in archeology or Heritage and PhD in Archeology)

• Languages: English (fluent) + Catalan or Spanish.

• Working experience (will be positively evaluated): Experience in contracts and projects of research related to archeology of al-Andalus. Experience in the study of materials ceramics from al-Andalus.

• Computer skills: (will be positively evaluated): 3D drawing and reproduction programs

• Other:

- stays in research centers

- publications related to the subject of research

- Experience in studying sets of human remains from late antiquity, medieval or al-Andalus.

Benefits

2 year contract (34.981,56 € salary x year). 37,5h working hours x week. 30 days holidays x year.

Eligibility criteria:

From a total of 100 points.

• Academic record: 40 points

Degree in History or Archaeology: 5p; Master in archeology or heritage: 5p; PhD in Archeology: 30p

• Working experience: 30 points

• Computing : 10 points

• Languages: 10 points

• Other merits: 10 points

Selection process:

1st - curricular phase

2nd- online interview: for those candidates obtaining over 60 points on the curricular phase
