We are seeking an enthusiastic postdoctoral researcher who is passionate about understanding and engineering genetic circuits in bacterial cells. Within this project, you will optimise existing genetic parts to work on different cellular hosts—that is, to shape their context dependency behaviour. You will be using directed evolution methods to find robust and efficient parts and setting up modular cloning techniques for the high-throughput assembly of genetic circuits.
