Project: Extracellular vesicles in multiple sclerosis. Characterization, function, and potential as a therapeutic vehicle of sncRNA.

Post location: Instituto de Investigacion Sanitaria Biodonostia (Donostia-San Sebastian). Multiple Sclerosis Group

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduction of experiments
  • Project Management
  • Group management support

EDUCATION:

  • Doctorate in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biomedicine, or related areas of knowledge
  • Experience in extracellular vesicles

EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

  • Experience, demonstrated by publications, in extracellular vesicles
  • Knowledgeable in cell signaling and immunology
  • Experience in cell cultures and basic cell and molecular biology techniques (quantitative PCR, Western Blot, transfections, infections, ELISAs)
  • Demonstrated expertise in animal models
  • High level of spoken and written English

SKILLS:

  • High level of motivation for research
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Initiative to propose new working hypotheses and to take on new challenges
  • Ability to analyze rigorously and meticulously large data sets and samples

It offers an 11-month contract with a possible extension provided the project is prolonged, and there is sufficient financing for the continuity of the employment contract.

It will request Juan de la Cierva and Sara Borrell contracts.

Type of working day: Full day (35h week). From 09:00 a.m. to 02:00 p.m. and 03:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m.

Expected Hiring date: March 2022

Salary: €27,000 gross per year

*Remuneration will be attributed to the candidate's dedication and worth (mobility, experience and training) and suitability for the post offered.
