Offer Description

Join the CO2SINk project to contribute with your research to address one of the major challenges of the XXI century: ending our dependency on hydrocarbons and reaching zero or net negative emissions to achieve carbon neutrality.

We offer a 8-month postdoctoral position for investigating the risks and commercialization possibilities of a novel storage concept that consists in injecting CO2 in deep volcanic areas. The position is related to the ERC-PoC project CO2SINk (Carbon dioxide (CO2) Storage In deep volcaNic areas), funded by the European Research Council (ERC, https://erc.europa.eu/ ). The candidate will perform her/his research at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in a collaborative and enthusiastic environment.
