The candidate will be involved in EIC Pathfinder project. In this project, microfluidic technologies will be integrated in a 3D printing system. The technology developed will be used to synthetize and assemble of functional materials in 2D and 3D. The candidate will develop microfluidic devices and/or 3D printed microreactors to control the generation and printing of functional matter.
Your tasks
- Design and fabrication of microfluidic devices and/or microreactors
- Materials processing in microfluidic environments
- The candidate needs to have expertise in photocurable monomers and organic synthesis
- Characterization of the materials generated with a wide range of spectroscopy and microscopy techniques, and other physicochemical tools.
- Publication of results in scientific journals and presentation of results at international conferences
Your profile
- Master’s in chemistry and/or materials science
- Skills and expertise in microfabrication, 3D CAD drawing, and assembly of devices
- Knowledge in microfluidic technologies and/or printing systems
- Experience with photocurable monomers and light induce synthesis
- Good knowledge of English
