Offer Description

Design and implementation of a highly novel system, based on the use of nano-optomechanical senssors, for the diagnosis of infectious diseases that allows the rapid and efficient diagnosis of a wide variety of diseases through a single test.

Highly multidisciplinary job: Nanotechnology, Optomechanics, Biology, etc.

Skills/Qualifications

Highly motivated and qualified postdoctoral researcher with a highly multidisciplinary profile (Physics, Engineering and Biology). 
 


Specific Requirements

Experience in the development of sensors, preferably in the field of optics, mechanics and biology. Experience in the design and assembly of complex experimental systems, as well as in the development of biological sensors, is especially valued.

 

Handling of the following software programs will be highly valued: Labview, Matlab, Mathematica, Comsol and Origin, among others.

Benefits

Join a highly multidisciplinary research team. 

The contract is initially for one and a half years, but if all goes well, it is expected to be extended for more years and at a higher salary.

The salary will be fixed depending on the experience. It may vary from 30.000 to 40.000 euros
