Postdoctoral positions available in the China-US(Henan)Hormel Cancer Institute for highly motivated candidates. The China-US (Henan) Hormel Cancer Institute is a state of the art cancer center located in the Henan Cancer Hospital. The innovative research center covers an area of over 57,000 square feet and has over $11 million dollars invested in technology to provide its scientists with the most advanced equipment. The institute is comprised of cancer researchers from around the world, excited to be part of its important mission to positively impact human health. Global collaborations are also rapidly growing in the quest to find solutions to the cancer problem. The Institute focuses on accelerating answers to cancers highly prevalent in Henan Province through both basic and translational research. 

We are seeking Postdoctoral Fellows for a unique research training opportunity under the mentorship of Professor Zigang Dong. Responsibilities will include participation in the design, implementation and evaluation of research projects, defining and solving scientific problems, carrying out laboratory experiments, developing experimental procedures, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing manuscripts for publication.

Qualifications:  A PhD, MD, or MD/PhD required. The successful applicants will have excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Proficiency in writing and editing/revising research manuscripts is desirable. Publications of high impact factors and experience in key research projects would also be a distinct advantage.
