We use translational models combining mouse models and human samples to disentangle the molecular mechanisms underlying complex such disorders. Concretely, the applicant will be involved in a study about the neuroimmunological alterations in schizophrenia affecting the hippocampal function mainly but other brain regions too and how these aberrant interactions explain the heterogeneity of the symptomatology of the disease. Human samples, mouse models and forefront approaches employed in neurosciences will be commonly used during the consecution of the project.
