Postdoc researcher in smart chemical sensor systems

The department of Electronic Engineering of the University of Barcelona (UB) is looking for a postdoc researcher in smart chemical sensor systems. The candidate will work within the framework of the the European project SNIFFIRDRONE coordinated by the UB. The objective of the project is to develop a drone-based system to monitor environmental odors produced by industrial plants. We are looking for engineers/physicists experienced in electronic instrumentation development. The position involves research duties and to a lesser extent project management responsibilities:

• Design and optimization of technology heterogeneous gas sensor array systems
• Development of Machine Learning Algorithms for odor intensity estimation
• Monitoring the proper progress of the project activities according to the work plan with regular communications with partners and EU
