Postdoc position in research and development activities in hydroformylation chemistry

We look for a skilled, social and smart experimental synthetic inorganic/organic chemist holding a PhD degree in Chemistry with a sound background in homogeneous transition-metal-catalyzed transformations to work in a Proof of Concept project. The overarching aim of the project is the valorization of olefins and/or petroleum feedstocks by selective homogeneous hydroformylations towards value-added fine chemicals. We offer a full-time contract (1 year) starting on the 1st of February 2022, with the possibility of a ten-month extension.

The post-doc is expected to independently conduct research, write reports, and draft manuscripts for publication. To this end, he/she must have excellent written and oral communication English skills.

The short-listed candidates will be interviewed on-line. Adequation and expertise of the candidates, together with the academic track-record will be the main criteria in the selection process. Expertise in process development will be valued positively.
