Offer Description

We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher who has worked in the field of evolutionary biology and has experience in comparative genomics and the development and application of novel phylogenetic methods. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with experience in chromosome-scale genome assemblies. The tasks to develop are the following:

• Genome assemblies at chromosome-scale level
• Development of phylogenetic methods
• Building matrices of orthologous genes
• Comparative genomics

Eligibility criteria

We are looking for an evolutionary biologist with experience in phylogenomics and the development of phylogenetic methods. Ideally, we are seeking a postdoctoral researcher with previous experience in genome assembly and comparative genomics

Selection process

• Adequacy of the CV (maximum 50)
• Letter of motivation (maximum 30)
• Experience in the field (maximum 20). >3 years (20 points), <3 years (10 points)
Minimum score to pass the selection process = 80

Additional comments
