Functions to be developed:

 Support the implementation of the CGI-Clinics (https://www.cancergenomeinterpreter.org ) at

the Catalan Institute of Oncology and Josep Trueta University Hospital, with the team of medical

oncologists, molecular pathologists and biologists, bioinformatics, and the CGI developer team

(IRB Barcelona), with the aim of improving the interpretation of the cancer genome for better

clinical and therapeutic decision-making.

 Responsibility for different tasks during the three distinct phases:

o During setup, help identify medical needs.

o During the validation stage, ensure that all measures are recorded to compare current clinical

practice and CGI tool results.

o During implementation, monitor predefined parameters.

 Be part of an international team of nine CGI specialists abroad (United Kingdom, Germany, France,

Spain), in monthly meetings to report progress to the president of the council of use of the clinics.

 Reference person for the CGI tool at the institution (enter mutations, format, understand reports

and possible treatments/clinical trials).

 Attend information days, partnering and matchmaking events in your home country, information

sessions, etc.

 Familiarize yourself with advances in cancer genome data interpretation and data sharing

initiatives from different perspectives (research, regulation, ethics and medical oncology).

 Identify and promote the most appropriate changes in the action plan in order to align the results

with the project. Interact with doctors and adapt to the clinical practice of your reference hospital.

 Help medical oncologists to make decisions based on molecular results

 Support in the preparation of the reports of the Molecular Pathology Committees of the Cancer

Molecular Tumor Board, MTB) molecular tumors (MTB) and facilitate the meetings.

 Follow up the collection of clinical and genomic data of the patients included in the CGI-Clinics

project (retrospective and/or follow-up updates).
